Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Devastanam stands one among the powerful hanuman temples established in 15th century of ‘rayala’ dynasty. This hanuman temple is located in a village named kondapuram which is situated 8km from gorantla mandal of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. After the death of the great Sri Krishnadevaraya, this temple was partly devastated and was left unnoticed by the people.
Later It was in 1984, Sri Karanam Vivekananda murthy of the same village refurbished the temple and started the regular pujas and offerings to the lord God Hanuman. But as there was no financial assistance, only the ‘vara pujas’ were being performed since 25 years.
